I’ve been working in the precious metals investment industry for many years, and it’s rare that a new company comes onto the scene and makes a positive impression. After several weeks taking a deep dive into GoldenCrest Metals, talking to the customer service team, and comparing them to other companies in the industry, I have a strong opinion about GoldenCrest Metals. Keep reading to find out what I think and if you should consider this gold IRA company.

GoldenCrest Metals – A Brief Overview

GoldenCrest Metals was founded in 2024 in Calabasas, CA by Rick Jacoby. According to the company website, Jacoby wanted to make something different than the high-pressure sales, confusing pricing, and commission-based recommendations that so many people are familiar with in the precious metals sector.

Jacoby gathered some of the wisest people he knew with backgrounds in precious metals and finance, and GoldenCrest Metals was born. Reviews on the company are extremely positive, and many customers report that Jacoby, himself, will get on the phone and give them a call, just to check in. This is a boutique option, but certainly one that I believe serious investors should consider.

Since GoldenCrest Metals is a new company, I think it’s important to take a look at what has made it stand out from the rest of these companies so quickly:

  • Competitive fees
  • Promotional offers for new investors
  • Personalized service
  • Partners with storage facilities and custodians that have exceptional reputations
  • Transparent, upfront pricing

GoldenCrest Metals Review Overview – What Do People Have to Say?

One of the best ways to find out if a company is right for you is to do a sentiment analysis. In other words, take a look at both the positive sentiment and negative sentiment that people have about the company. I can tell you that GoldenCrest Metals has a lot of positive feedback even though it’s a new company.

Here’s what people have to say about GoldenCrest:

Better Business Bureau

Currently, GoldenCrest Metals has an A- from the BBB. You might thing that this means it’s not as good as other gold IRA companies, but that’s not the case. It has an A- because it’s a new company. Additionally, the company has 5/5 stars on the BBB website.

TrustPilot

On TrustPilot, GoldenCrest Metals holds a 4.2/5 star rating. There are currently six reviews, and all of them are positive.

Google

There are currently 15 reviews on Google for GoldenCrest Metals. The company is rated with 5-stars out of 5.

GoldenCrest Metals Complaints

I was unable to find any complaints about GoldenCrest Metals when searching on these sites. There are no complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau, nor are there any other negative reviews that I could find.

GoldenCrest Metals Fees and Costs

When looking at all gold IRA companies, you will find fees and costs associated with investing in precious metals and individual retirement accounts that are funded by precious metals. GoldenCrest Metals has transparent pricing, but there are costs and fees that you should consider.

Gold IRA Perks

Before I get into that, however, I do want to mention a few things. First, GoldenCrest Metals is offering a number of perks and promotions for its customers. Currently, the company is waiving setup fees and offering the first year of storage fees for free. If you invest larger amounts, you can get up to five years in free storage. Typically, storage is $100 to $150 per year for other gold IRA companies, so this can be a significant savings. Not only does the company offer complimentary storage in IRS-approved depositories, but it also offers insurance coverage for shipping.

The company is also advertising a $0 administration fee. You will have to pay an annual maintenance fee for the custodian, Entrust Group, and that’s $199 per year.

I also want to mention a few more things about the fees and costs with GoldenCrest. First, GoldenCrest offers promotions like free silver to certain investors. If you are a first time investor, you might get a deal on precious metals, too, since they are always offering promotions.

Investment Minimums

There is also a minimum investment with GoldenCrest. This is normal in the gold IRA industry. The minimum investment at GoldenCrest Metals for a gold IRA is $25,000. If you want to invest in metals for home storage, the minimum is $10,000.

Gold and Silver Pricing is Not Listed

Finally, I want to mention that GoldenCrest does not list pricing on their website. To get prices, you must call and speak with a representative. The company says this is because market trends and market fluctuations are always happening. Since this company doesn’t post prices, I recommend calling, getting pricing, and then comparing those prices to other companies that DO list prices online.

Who is GoldenCrest Metals For?

In times of economic uncertainty, investors want to know that their money is safe, which is why they invest in both IRA and non-IRA metals. GoldenCrest Metals isn’t for everyone. The company’s commitment to investor education and the ethical sourcing of metals is impressive, but this is not the only company out there. For many investors, GoldenCrest Metals is a good choice, but for others, even though the company offers a lot of perks for eligible accounts, other companies might be better. This is why I always recommend doing research so you can make well-informed decisions.

In my opinion, GoldenCrest Metals is a good option for:

  • Investors who want competitive pricing, want lower annual fees, and want to take advantage of promotions
  • Those who want to learn about investment options, tax benefits, and ensure IRS guidelines are met.
  • People who want positive customer experiences without high-pressure sales tactics
  • Those ready to diversify their portfolios with a traditional IRA, Roth IRA or other investment backed by precious metals.

My Overall Review of GoldenCrest Metals – Is it a Good Option?

When I started looking at GoldenCrest Metals, I wasn’t sure if I felt confident recommending it. I, too, have a strong commitment to my readers, and after using and reviewing various platforms in the precious metals industry, I am prepared to give an updated analysis of GoldenCrest Metals.

I think clients of GoldenCrest Metals are in a great position. Investing in gold IRAs and other precious metals products can be a powerful tool to securing your financial future and meeting your financial goals.

After looking at things like customer feedback, personal experience, and investments available, GoldenCrest Metals is highly recommended.

I know that making investment decisions can be overwhelming, but I feel the team at GoldenCrest Metals handled my situation with integrity and transparency. I am impressed that they keep providing clear and straightforward answers to common questions that consumers have, and the expertise and professionalism that is available for their clientele is impressive.

Though they feature gold and silver on their website, they also have platinum and palladium assets available, too, which helps them keep up with their competitors. The quality and reliability exceeded my expectations, and I am certainly interested in seeing what this company does when they are more established.

If you are looking to work with a knowledgeable, and trustworthy company for a gold IRA, I do recommend GoldenCrest Metals. If you are not sold, or want to see more options, I also recommend that you check out my other reviews.  There are many precious metals IRA companies out there, and not all of them are created equally. Augusta Precious Metals is for the high net worth investors.  Noble Gold offers the most metals to buy.  I could go on and on.  Also, consider the fact that not every company will work for your budget, your style of investment, or your needs. Always do your research before settling on one company over the others.
